I think Anelka will do really well as manager, I'm sure his bubbly, enthusiastic personality will rub off onto his players and inspire them to victory. If they are lucky, he'll even throw in a smile and that hand celebration he does.

Anelka lost his 1st match as player-manager - he started and captained the side.

He doesn't. In reality he is just a public face and there is a real manager there.

As for how a normal player-manager works. They will hire an assistant they trust and respect, before the game they will give detailed instructions about what they would like done and then during the match they will expect anything not out of the ordinary to be dealt with by the assistant. It used to be fairly common but it has sadly fallen by the way side now

All matches in Italian leagues suspended after the death of Piermario Morosini, a Livorno player who suffered a cardiac arrest earlier today.

RIP Morosini, should remove that video as you can witness the cardiac arrests he had, find it extremely distressing.

RIP Morosini.. Wow two players in one season suffering cardiac arrests on the pitch.. Hopefully they can come up with better screening.

RIP Morosini...
I have read it recently. Of course that's a sad moment in football. It stand to reason to cancel the matches in Serie A in this week. R.I.P from Germany!
