    The Sinking Boat
"Imagine there are people travelling in a boat. One of the passengers starts to drill a hole right where he is sitting. What will be the reaction?

Everyone will start making noise and stop him from carrying on what he's doing. Suppose he says 'mind your own business, I am drilling a hole in my own place and who are you to stop me?'

Obviously, everyone will say, 'that is true. But when the water starts coming into the boat, it will not only drown you, but we all are going to sink.''

Similarly, when you see sins committed in your community, society or nation, and if you turn a blind eye, you all will be answerable to God Almighty, liable for His punishment and for spreading the corruption.

When you see something wrong happening in your community or the society, it is obligatory to confront it and stop it. If you have power to speak out against the evil committed, it will be the jihad with your tongue. If you have no power to speak but you can write against it, it will be jihad with your pen. If you can neither speak nor write, but have money to pay someone who can do the job for you, it will be jihad with your wealth. If you cannot do anything then have hatred towards such acts and this is the weakest form of jihad.

I entered a Quran school in Riyadh yesterday, and saw a group of kids aged five or younger reciting a something. I did not understand it at first, then I heard something familiar and realised it was usool a thalatha. They were reciting it passionately and by heart...subhanAllah I was so amazed. Those kids so young already know such things...I'm 16 and even I don't know the arabic text yet. Similarly, they go to school and it's part of the curriculum to learn the Quran. By the time they reach my age, or older. Khalas it's learnt completely. Such fortunate individuals subhanAllah.

Here are some detailed prophecies by the Prophet (as)

    • The Prophet foretold that Fatima would join him first of all after his death: Before his death, the Messenger called his daughter Fatima to his bedside and informed her that she would be the first among his family to join him after his death. Fatima joined her father, the pride of mankind, six months later. [Bukhari]
    • The conquest of Istanbul (Constantinople): "Verily you shall conquer Constantinople. What a wonderful leader will her leader be, and what a wonderful army will that army be!" - this website gives plenty of sources, like al-Bukhari
    • The Messenger predicted ‘Ammar’s martyrdom in a ‘civil’ war: “What a pity O ‘Ammar, a rebellious group will kill you.” [ Bukhari, Muslim and Musnad Ahmad]
    • The Prophet predicted the Mongol invasion: “The Hour will not be established till you fight with the Khudh and the Kirman from among the non-Arabs. They will be of red faces, flat noses and small eyes; their faces will look like flat shields, and their shoes will be of hair.”

    ---
They are deemed to be authentic, you can check the sources. These show that he (as) must have been a Prophet.

Haha, I went on that website twice before I converted. Read two posts. Exited and then "face palmed".

    And I was converting!
Whenever I read their articles, my brain cries :facepalm2: I'm glad you didn't believe their tosh when you read it, otherwise you mightn't have converted, Subhan'Allah

I didn't mean it in a rude way. If I was bothered, I would be the first to button him/her up. It's always the same thing with these people when you say the 's' country. Like its haram or something. Sorry though...

who are you guys voting for?

cameron wished us eid mubarak so i was gonna vote for him, but he's murdered quite a few disabled people and so really tough decision. i also don't like many socialist values, altho in the current climate these ones usually have a good heart, very kind and are the most critical of murdering muslims for money and imagine the green goblin becoming prime minister!!!!!!! dunno who's worse him or tony satan blair

most greens are all stupid athiests who think a solution to the environmental crisis can be found from within a paradigm that has caused it in the first place, bloody confused, what to do? ukip want to kill as many muslims as possible, but one benefit would be that i wont have to interact with french athiests who are on another level

I'm so confused, so what you guys doing??

any wahabbis wanna reply that voting is haram, please put your head in a toilet

WikiIslam - their academic research is rather profound in that never before have I witnessed such a thing whereby the pursuit of wisdom has manifested itself so beautifully in a website

It's what the atheists like to use when they quote and cherry pick Hadiths.

It's awkward when they genuinely believe that crud, like wth bruh I know; I fear being a hypocrite too though - I post all this Islamic stuff to refute them but it makes me wonder how much I actually apply in my own life :erm: May Allah make me a better Muslim, Ameen

In my dialogue with you, http://www.thestudentroom.co.uk/show...3#post54681903
    I quoted Badawi http://api.viglink.com/api/click?for...n_in_islam.php

I also quoted Croydon mosque http://api.viglink.com/api/click?for...ivil_Court.pdf
