It's not the decision of the house but the author of particular bills.

So each Bill could use a different figure for British GNI? Seems a bit strange to me

Sorry, I misread, I thought you said "why".

For the question: whatever the internet tells them.

It is most peculiar that the Government have appointed someone who voted against their last budget to be their new Chancellor. Is the Government U-turning on it's economic policy, or will this new chancellor be compromising his own principles? Furthermore, does the appointment of a notably non-centrist Chancellor mean that the government will no longer be pursuing centre-left policies as their coalition with the Liberals would suggest?

There will not be a significant change in government financial policy given the contents of the Budget are the result of the consensus. United was appointed because I believe he is the best person for the job.

We can merge, rename or split departments as we wish, it's not like no RL government has ever done the same.

I'm glad you've merged departments but i'm seeing a number of latter half of the page positions with MP's who don't do much outside the sub-forum. Are you sure you could not have simply rolled down the departments even further and saved giving people titles.

What shall the next major uturn by this government be? Does this mean manifesto commitments will be seen or are they still "being worked on" in perpetuity?

So, to conclude this, only one half of the House (including one Tory ) is in support of the Government. How does the Prime Minister feel about this result?

I'd also like to use this opportunity to thank every supporter of the MoNC as well as those who abstained for acknowledging the issues and making what I think was the correct choice.

Well, less than half of the House supported the formation of an alternative coalition, hence I'm taking this question as PM now and not you.

Actually there wouldn't be a PM for a week so nobody would be answering anything as PM right now

Alternatively one could argue that you would remain PM for the next week so you would still be able to answer as PM.

Either way, in some respects the motion failing isn't an entirely bad thing because it leaves some actions open that would not be possible with a change of government

When does the government finally intend on implementing primary legislation relating to the budget?

When does the government finally intend on implementing primary legislation relating to the budget?
The process has been delayed due to the sudden resignation of the previous Chancellor, but the new Chancellor has now taken over the reins and we will look to realise the provisions shortly.
