    what how

unless you're 8, in which case that makes sense
It's not hard, of we exclude the tube I'm not sure I'd been on an active train before uni, even we if include the underground the use is minimal, twice a year for the theatre at most, but generally we parked in the City of London or West End so were within walking distance.

RayApparently am I allowed to create an opinion (not exit!) poll?
Given that it's not MHoC related then that's up to you - though I'd hate it to detract from the voting here.

I think you need to practise your comprehension skills. At the moment this discussion is too tedious to engage in further.
I have noticed that people who are really bad at constructive arguments often use the phrase 'poor comprehension skills' or 'reading comprehension = low'.

Grand stretch of morning lads. Must say, Life_peer, Tory manifestos is aesthetically pleasing to look at.
I appreciate the compliment. We know we've certainly done better than Labour this time and I hope the election results will reflect that.

I'm not so sure. I'll give you credit for the layout of your manifesto because it looks quite professional but it is the content which counts and I think Labour will win because their policies are the best.

If you voted thinking that you had the necessary 100 posts, later found out you didn't, but got to the 100 mark before the polls closed, does your vote still get counted?

Probably an obvious question, but just don't fancy wasting my time making ten posts if it's needless.

The order makes no difference so yes, it does.

Or insult the party instead of debating the arguments that they are putting forward.

I hope that last night's insults are not repeated. We probably all have known someone with dementia or Alzheimer's and should be sympathetic and supporting research to hopefully find treatment or a cure for the conditions.

Just realised I made some errors in my compliment, apologies for having insomnia and being ill.

It is now about the time that large shops will be opening for Sunday trading.

Many of those who work in said shops will be on zero-hours contracts, which in my opinion cannot be justified. I think that in retailing and in government contracted work as a minimum, they should be outlawed. Every large retailer could guarantee at least one day per week as a minimum.

Funny enough, I just had a debate about this with someone who works in GMB.

Zero hours contracts are good for students. It gives them flexibility: my sister has one and is always guaranteed hours. I think instead of banning them, trade unions and the government should look to improve them (holiday pay, sick pay).

Sunday trading should be outlawed. Sunday is special and no-one should have to work on it.

Only about 20% of part time jobs are zero hours. I myself am retail but not zero hours.

I don't disagree per say but we'd then moveto a situation where lefties would whine about 4 hour minimum contacts, 10 hours ect.. it would become a slippery slope.

Silly religious argument. Religion has no place in government.

What is special about Sunday to people who don't follow a religion?

I implore the electorate to view this comment. Along with putting out a bill substantially increasing the deficit we now see a senior Labour figure calling for firms to be banned from opening on Sundays.. it is clear that Labour are not friends of the economy.

Personally i am all for the abolition of Sunday trading restrictions, the state has no place telling either firms nor customers when they can and cannot purchase goods and services.

    Ridiclous.

We cannot afford to be a 'lazy economy' *cough* Spain.

Employers should have the right to make their employees work on Sundays. I don't want most shops to close on Sunday. Even on Christmas, I want shops, restaurants, cinemas, etc. to be open.

Spain stays open into the late evening to compensate for the siesta
