Can't write off the whole of that series though - Impossible Planet and Satan Pit are two of the best. And the heartbreaking ending of Doomsday, of course.

Near enough though. I can think of only 4 episodes from series 2 that I'd give more than a 6/10 tbh.

I'm similar to yourself, I adored David Tennant after not liking him in the first couple of episodes. Same happened with Matt Smith, I now think he's brilliant and totally suited to the Doctor role. It just took that extra little time to get used to him. And agreed, the Christmas episode was pants.
Oh gosh yeah, when you saw Tennant for the first time and he went 'oh new teeth... where were we going to go...? OH I KNOW, BARCELONA!' I was like... no |: no no no
But he was just such a loveable doctor and it was amazing! Matt Smith is a more than suitable Doctor by all means!! And yeah, I couldn't even finish the episode off, it was depressing me slightly .-.

Series 2 was bad, we all know it, but it got a lot funnier in series 3. Catherine Tate made most things funny

Hater.. The Empty Child/ The Doctor Dances were epic! I just watch that part where the gas mask comes out of his mouth over and over and over and over again because that part is epic!!!!!!!!

Well it seems that Mark Williams is going into any show he can really. First Hustle, then Being Human & now Doctor Who. I love all of these shows but it's a bit much of him.

Last series was the first of the new series to not bring back a classic series villain, who had not previously been in the new series.

For next season, who would like to see the return of another classic series villain, if so who would you like to see return.

What classic villain did Series 5 bring back?If you mean monster then series 6 brought back many like Minotaur,Pterodactyl and Cybermats.

I've heard that Zygons are returning to Doctor Who which sounds really cool and I'm looking forward to seeing new designs.

Well technically they are villains, as normally the Army faction of the Silurians harbour a hatred for humanity. They're not monsters really, as they evolved like Humans. How do you think they're monsters?

Silurians as chernid said. I forgot about the Cybermats. I wouldn't include Pterodactyl and the Minotaur as returning villains. As far as I remember the Pterodactyl played a tiny part, and was more of an extra than a villain. I haven't seen any classic series stories involving a Minotaur, is there actually a connection between the Minotaur from series 6 and any Minotaurs from the classic series?

they are monsters not villains.
I was using the word villain to refer to the antagonist(s) of the story, which includes the monsters.

It would be good to see the Zygons, they look like interesting villains.

Villains are singular evil-Villains of Doctor Who would be Davros, the master etc but not daleks and silurians.

Villains is the plural of villain, is it not? What part of what I said is incorrect?
