If May plays her card right , a calls a GE In October then she could win majority stealing UKIP Votes and Labour losing around 60 seats she has a clean mandate

I do feel sorry for corbyn... hes lost 26 people within a day and a half and only has 10 newbies... I do hope the party get rid of him because otherwise we will see another split in labour.
If Corbyn is blocked from being on the ballot in a leadership election then the party will split anyway.

This is absolute stupidity from Labour, this is the reason they are unelectable, not because of Corbyn. The worst part is that they have choreographed in order for it to stay in the news as long as possible, they are bringing Labour down on purpose.

I can't see that happening surely?!

I personally think its more corbyn because he doesn't inspire confidence.

This is what happens when your membership and MP's don't compromise with each other. You have a bunch of middle class socialists who look back and see nothing but Iraq and just want a man of principles, they don't even care about power. On the flip side you have MP's who came into politics to make the world a better place who's priority is to be elected and do something instead of shout from the sidelines.

Until representatives from each side get together and thrash out what they want from the party, this situation will just repeat itself.

Labour Chairman has been seeking legal advice to see if he can keep him off the ballot. Looks unlikely to succeed though.

They have been looking for an excuse to get rid of him since the day he was elected and have been actively working against him ever since, despite his best efforts to bring them into the fold. This has nothing to do with his personality or leadership qualities, they simply can not stand the fact that he is left wing.

I'm not of the opinion that we should judge them too harshly. the media hasn't helped and some of them have been getting abuse for speaking against him apparently.

I wouldn't vote for Corbyn, but I hugely respect him for sticking to his principles (with the exception of the EU referendum where I think he would have voted out and campaigned for out had he not been leader). I hope he gets on the ballot and wins again, a) because it will mess up the PLP and I'd love to see the faces of those who resigned and b) because it will demonstrate that the PLP should listen to the views of party members who overwhelming elected Corbyn.

Membership and VI aren't the same, they very rapidly gained members after the election but their VI share went down

Labour DL now told Corbyn to resign. Corbyn is fast becoming friendless in the Labour Party.
