Just realised after the change in Socialist leadership I am now the longest standing leader currently in leadership of a party within the house today!

Something must be working
Less then 2 terms though... Last term we just saw loads of leaderships topple.

Don't get cocky. Your party doesn't have the greatest history of leaders who were too resilient.

Yes we did, although something must be working.

Sound advice! Yes, we don't have the greatest history! I think if we read back on our sub I would be the leader that has survived the longest without a VONC

Congratulations! Life_peer's right though, from personal experience, it's a somewhat dubious title to have.

I know Bun had one immediately after he became leader, and I think Toronto suffered one [Although I am not 100% certain]

I'm not sure if I was VONC'd, but I think that I ended up walking before I was pushed on both occasions.

Yes, reading back it was an invalid one, but anyway!

Congratulations though! Looking over the wiki, there are very few leadership figures who have been elected before 2015 left. It's amazing how quick the change around can be in this place from newest leader to oldest.

Agreed. And thanks!

I feel previously, leadership has turned over too quickly, and the leaders haven't had time to implement their changes, but hopefully it is different within UKIP!

Surely you should have a little tour of the local teams Kit..

What you need is a check list of what matters. Here's a starter:

- do they make a good cuppa
- score out of 10 for their pies
- are the toilets usable without being sick
- are other supporters welcoming
- ticket prices
- are they any good?

Anyway I'm sure lots to add but you could go to your 5 or so local teams and see which you rate?

Not half term here. School finishes at the end of June so it's an 8 week summer.
