Forever alone! I think I'm going to go insane if I'm single for much longer.

If you're so very entertaining, then why are you on your own tonight?

Listening to the Smiths is not helping my mood. So ****ing fragile at the moment.

Anyone got any tips for wangling good deals from mobile phone networks?

Going to upgrade soon but I'd like to get as much bang for my buck.

I've been with o2 for yonks now, and I've heard mythical stories about people getting amazing deals through blagging over the phone.
Look at what other networks are offering e.g. in newspapers.

Call your network and get transferred to the 'leave network' department.

Tell your current network that whilst you like them very much, the other networks are offering a much better deal (mention what they are offering) and you're planning to change network.

OR just say your tariff is too expensive and you are thinking of changing to a cheaper network.

This worked with T mobile and I have a much better deal than I did before and much cheaper than any other network.

They do have some room for negotiation and should be able to offer you a better deal.

Is it bad to have to google the smiths to know who you were talking about?

We must sound like a right bunch...

I know some second years at Nottingham if you want setting up..... but then again you're much better off without

Not unprofessional, and they probably won't mind being asked (though yeah, it might kill any romantic chances you may have had). .

Ha! I might get back to you on that. I'm going to see if an English student I know has any single coursemates. I can't remember the last time I met an unattached female of the species. :ahee:

Anyone else have their own shoes for theatre? I find it impossible to ever find my size in the communal lot.
Not as med student but I found the classic Crocs the best for long periods standing in theatre

You're going to have such a culture shock when you get back there I would imagine

I can't wait to get out of london and back home to the north countryside... will be so odd though

I know what you mean..... I am currently two weeks and 1 day behind on my lecture notes for cardiorespiratory... I haven't started apart from PBLs :sigh:

Could do with more than just 2 weeks off!

I am unaware of what the oxbridge people do over christmas....

Haha I know that feeling.. seeing that here is all medics and dentists that I come across they all seem to be in relationships...
At least you can meet some arts students

Well for the few second years at Nottingham that I know that are single there's an English Studies student who is already a crazy cat lady, and an alright physics student but is just the most frigid person ever (not that there's anything wrong with that... it's just not what some people want..)

So yeah... you might be better off without my help

And if you know anyone suited for me down here in London then don't hesitate
