3UMS off an A* in Language - is it worth getting a remark? Do they ever go up that much?
I think it could be worth a remark since English is quite subjective

    I had 7 A*s and 3 As:

    Biology A*
    Chemistry A*
    Physics A*
    Maths A*
    R.S A*
    Economics A*
    English Language A*
    Geography A
    English Literature A
    Welsh A

Any chance of studying Economics in Cambridge?
Firstly congrats on achieving those grades. I think if you continue to perform at A-Level you will stand a fair chance

Do you guys think these results would be decent enough for Medical school? (Bristol/Oxford standard). Also, which A-levels would you suggest from these grades? (i plan on having maths in there somewhere, possibly further too). finally, do you think these are good enough for Oxford in general?

    A*’s:
    -Physics
    -Biology

    A’s:
    -Chemistry
    -Mathematics
    -Electronics
    -History
    -English Language
    -English Literature
    -Philosophy and Ethics
    -Core Science

    Distinction *’s at A-level:
    -IT(Qcf) BTEC Level 3

    Distinctions at GCSE:
    -DiDA ICT Level 2
Very unlikely that you'd get into Oxford for medicine with those GCSEs. Unless you have any extenuating circumstances, you'd miss the short-listing by a very long way.

When do the individual marks come up? I can only see what grade I got in my exams.
And how many re-marks are you allowed.

Need some advice. I feel a bit sad since I wasn't expecting the grades that I've got. I was predicted an an a in both maths and psychology but instead I got b's. Also I'm 4 ums off the a mark. Should I have it remarked?

I got 2 a's and 3 b's. I was predicted a in all of them. I only revised all of the topics 3 days before the exam. Are my gcse's good enough for the Russell Group Universities? I feel sad..

Why would it have to be an RG uni, specifically?

Your GCSEs are more than good enough. Just make sure you do your research and don't apply outside your scope!

I've had a massive kick in the teeth today. I got 1A 1B 1C and 2Ds. Have been accepted to do 3 a levels and a btec. Realised that I have to work so much harder than I did.

Last year, 100% of students got 5Cs so you would have been bottom of my school that year.
