Hello there , but tbh I like it when you use my name

Timeout for bubble999, my maths sexual innuendo became too much for her

STEP questions are like super challenging questions bridging from A-level to university mathematics, I'd get a lot of satisfaction from completing one, but now as much as doing you would give

For example this is part of a STEP questions
Find solutions to the differential equation
3(\dfrac{dy}{dx})^{2}+2x\dfrac{d y}{dx}=1 given that y=1 at x=0
Don't worry, I can take it

Ooh, you make me blush

I understand nothing of that. Sadly the furthest I got was an A at GCSE

But wow, you are so clever Robbie :yep:

So I see. I feel positively left out
It's because I have fewer posts and rep isn't it? :bawling:

How about sqrt[1/3*(1-2x)] ?
what do you want me to do with it, simplify it? integrate it? differentiate it?

Mmm I like a woman who can take it

Haha I'm glad, I'm not sure if you'd know this one but bby if I were sin^{2}(\theta) and you were cos^{2}(\theta) then together we'd make one

Haha aww, still good though and at least you don't completely reject my lines like some women who hate maths do

Haha thank you

You changed the equation while I was replying. It gives you solution to the previous equation.

ah nice one, yeah I forgot the extra dy/dx, added that bit of extra challenge since you have to use the result from part a) that

\displaystyle\int \sqrt{3+x^{2}} dx = \dfrac{1}{2}x\sqrt{3+x^{2}}+ \dfrac{3}{2}ln(x+\sqrt{3+x^{2}}) +C

It just gets better. How about...

(I know it's not sexual, but it's the only one I know  )

Of course not! That's just ridculous, you can't help you're just better than others at maths :teehee:

Well I made the account purely to ask chemistry questions in 2010. It's only been since last week that I've really started using it properly

 haha, that's one of the more light-hearted ones but I love it compared to the typical boring non-trig ones

Haha, and if I have a passion for something e.g. certain TV shows and maths then of course I'm going to interpret loads of it into innuendo like this cocky one:

''I'm good at maths... let's add a bed, subtract our clothes, divide your legs, and multiply!''

and really awkward gifs like this:
