Note that the institute has a Communications paper with a rubbish pass rate, and so everyone entering has to have at least some communication ability!
Tell me that when you say paper, you mean a written exam paper taken in complete silence by plenty of people sitting at isolated desks?

Used to be. Now it's a presentation to some senior actuaries, and a written exercise (though you get a computer to do it on).

I'm bailing, got a job offer from KPMG so just need to get a 2:1 now. This is far from a formality, for the record

Well done! I envy that you have a clear target you need to achieve to get what you want

In the maths department at 3:23am, don't feel completely miserable.

It could only be Warwick.

Doing reading for an essay. I feel like such a bona fide arts student. All I need how is a turtleneck and a beret.

Part III? I loved my fourth year thesis. I don't understand a word of it now, but that just makes me think once upon a time I was actually clever

I've got a growing dislike for analysis and an enjoyment for Linear algebra :ahee: This semester, I'm really not looking forward to Geometry of Surfaces as it looks easy but quite boring :sadnod:
