I got a rejection (international with 5/5/5/4 AP, 760/710 SAT II and 2250 SAT). Was told it was because of my PS.
I got rejected from LSE the other day too, having achieved AAAA at AS and being predicted A*A*A*. The reason they gave was also due to my personal statement, apparently.
Competition must clearly be on another level this year... I hope you get your other universities though

it's ridiculous. i'm not sure what they're looking for in a PS, and they could at least be less vague about it.
i hope so too, Oxford interview notifications come out within two weeks and if I'm not good enough for LSE...

I can completely relate to that haha, I had mine read by many teachers who all thought it was very strong. Ah good luck! I'm applying to Cambridge and also awaiting interview invite... Remember that Oxbridge are looking for different things than LSE are, and you're very likely to get an interview with those grades!!
LSE actually has a far lower acceptance rate than both Oxford and Cambridge

JUST GOT MY 4th OFFER FROM EXETER - PHEW!

4 offers and 1 interview, just need to smash this interview for York, as it's the most important one.
It's funny how someone was saying that they don't offer until March to me today, I guess not!

I have mine tomorrow and i'm so scared, i've practised all that i can but still don't feel prepared. I really don't think the LNAT is a good exam, its more about luck and how you're feeling on the day than your actual skills.

This is a megathread, for everyone planning on studying Law in 2016, albeit just under 2 years away. Anyway:

Which university are you thinking of studying at?

Are you applying for any other courses?

Are you doing it as a joint degree (Law and ...)?

Why are you studying for a Law degree?

    For me:
Provisionally: Oxford, KCL, Lancaster, Queen Mary and LSE.

Thinking of Politics, Philosophy and Economics.

    Looking at:
Politics, Philosophy and Law at KCL
    Law and Politics at Lancaster

I want to become a Criminal Barrister (life-long ambition),
Sent my UCAS application off on 3rd November, with grades AABB at AS Level. Predicted A*A*A/B at A2.
    I have applied to:
Queens Belfast- received AAB Conditional Offer
    Manchester- received AAA Conditional Offer
    Liverpool- received ABB Conditional Offer
LJMU- received 300 TP Conditional Offer
    Southampton- received AAB Conditional Offer
Received all offers within 2 weeks, so happy!
