Would it be too late to apply then? Even with an employee referral?

Not sure. That was definitely the one for Corporate Finance but it may have had other divisions there too. In the first round, they did all the different divisions together.

i know that many of the companies we apply to for grad schemes have the right to keep the data that they collect from your application. but supposing an applicant is unsuccessful one year but applies the next, after graduating, would they cross-check applications to check certain information?? not personal details of course but other cv-related info. eg, my cv neglects to mention one piece of work experience due to limited space. if unsuccessful this year, i may include it in my cv next year. would they monitor/notice/be suspicious of that?

also, do they discriminate against people who apply twice after failing to make the cut the first time? of course they may not say they would/will, but....

i get your point about time, but in that case, why do they ask you whether you have applied before?

    Hi everyone,

I'm a 1st year analyst at JPMorgan in Operations and applying for 2017 IBD Grad roles. Have recently submitted applications for Normura, DB and MS (Frankfurt) and on my way completing Citi and UBS. Knowing it's November already and those banks would've handed out majority of IBD grad offers out by now, do you think it's still worth for me applying a few more, just for IBD grad jobs? I'm a little perplexed as to whether those companies have still got spaces for their IBD 2017 Grad roles...?

To name again, I'm applying to the following:

    Deutsche Bank
    Morgan Stanley (Frankfurt)
    Normura
    UBS
    Citi

If any of you have got the most updated information re roles and are they now filled up etc, it'd be great! Otherwise, I am more than happy to provide insight/interview questions for JPM, not just in Operations but Risk as well.

    Thank you!

Totally dependent on the team. But for overall brand I would rank them: DB, Barclays, Jefferies, HSBC, Nomura, BNP.

But again: A strong team at Jefferies is far better than an average team at Barclays.
