Stop asking, you will see when someone gets a geography offer if you just read this thread.

It seems that Warwick has been mass-sending acknowledgments this afternoon.

acknowledgements make me feel a bit more secure, because it means that the university actually has my application. i don't trust technology.

YES it is. We had this MID-ASSESSMENT predicted grade go out during the summer, and that was very high - hence my counsellor and I were saying that my choices were realistic. But after I pressed "pay and send" he got my 'current' predicted grades and told me they had dropped.. The teachers apparently predict lowly in my school so they don't look bad if the students get lower than they predicted.

My school is basically messed up, stripping me of my chances..

    I'll see what happens though.
Well I hope all goes well for you

I sent in my app in late September... and it's now nearly a full month since then....
My boyfriend only got an acknowledgement from Warwick like yesterday, about 3 weeks after his application was sent for maths. I think it just takes a long time.

Shouldn't there be another thread for "Offers 2009" without all this talking and rumbling?
I believe 40 pages of (mostly) stressed people posting about acknowledgment e-mails and no sign of offers is a bit too far-fetched.

A thread with just offers, would be really helpful to see where we are at.

you could try making one called 'official offers thread 2009,' then get a mod to sticky it and delete any spam?

Or someone, with the time!, could compile all offers into one post and update it?
Although its a bit late to start now they'd have too many pages to go through, unless people reposted ina new thread without babble =]
    Good idea btw :yep:
