Homosexual people are allowed to get a civil partnership
Heterosexual people are allowed to get a civil partnership
Therefore Homosexual people can do things heterosexuals can't
Therefore this is discrimination and anti-hetero you discriminatory little so and so.
Did he ever say heterosexual people shouldn't be able to get civil partnerships..?

We're looking at further monetary easing this summer, with Carney announcing he expects more QE and/or rate cuts to be needed to compensate for a deteriorating economic outlook.

But, he also points out that "the question is not whether the UK will adjust but rather how quickly and how well".

The fake outrage is really grating on me.

Also what is Angela Eagle waiting for? Just get it over with, the longer this drags on the worse it gets, and we all know Jezza ain't going to quit.

And then he makes sterling fall just as fast as when Brexit was obvious, just not for quite as long.

On the flip side, 10 year GILTs down to a new record low

I prefer Theresa May over Gove generally but May favours anti immigration over acess to the single market so..

Sure we should start negotiations asking for both, but under pressure we surely can't lose the latter for the former.

The longer it takes the weaker his position becomes as more and more people peel away, and the longer its in the media with the message "weak leader" in peoples heads.

I also get the sense her hearts not in it. Nor should she, she's not leadership material and cannot win. No one can win from this leftist rut the Labour party have got themselves in.

\best case scenerio for labour long term: Labour elect a new leader from the left, who eaks back seats from the SNP and regains labour safe seats, but is still crushed. Then people simply have to accept, with the proof in t=front of them, that no it cant be done from such a radical position.

Then the centrists/soft left, having surely won the argument for good now, come in.

Interest Rates set to fall by summer , How low are they going to go ? They used to be around 15% but are now 0.5% I'm Guessing around 0.3-0.3.5 % ?

Don't rule out slightly negative interest rates. Would be an unprecedented move for the BoE but people said that about Japan and Sweden.

You do realise when they were 15% it's because inflation was 15-20% or more?

She needs Corbyn to resign, otherwise she knows she can't win.

Wes Streeting is despicable, saying that Corbyn supported "someone from Momentums" antisemitic abuse toward a friend of his.

She also needs to act because otherwise it's an empty threat and it undermines the anti Corbyn wing

I think he knew Boris wasn't up to the job to begin with. But he obviously wanted to wait to see if Boris could develop a clear vision, he did not, and it began to look like May would defeat Boris.

Angela Eagle warned by her CLP that her constituency backs Corbyn and ask that she issues a message of support for him.
