It's just an opinion piece. In the Daily Mail. Meaningless.

Anyway the first comment on twitter basically summed it up: "Why would Sanchez join Arsenal in the first place if he wanted European success?"

Basically Madrid and Barca were right to let their surplusses go for mega money, they knew the Premier League would decline and only the big Premier League clubs could offer similar wage packets as them.

Seems like a pretty cheap story tbh. Not like he can even leave anyway, unless PSG fancy splashing some cash no one is going to meet an Arsenal valuation.

Who'd buy Alexis Sanchez for the £50M+ we'd ask for? Most clubs higher than Arsenal wouldn't accept the general lack of efficiency in his game.

Playing for Arsenal is his level tbh

Just when you think arsenal can't get ay worse they spring something like last night on you. It's not even October yet and the season looks like it is slipping away from us.

If by 9:30 Utd and City don't win then European underachievement is a symptom of the Premier League. Yes it's disappointing that it happened, we can only hope the players wake up and start playing

For the record I didn't want you to lose, we'll be the biggest losers if we lose the 4th spot...

A lack of leadership is obviously an issue for you, but my word, Wenger's lack of game management last night was really exposed. You have to say that he gave Ospina the start because he's promised him cup starts throughout the 2015/16 campaign.

If so, that lack of ruthlessness is hampering him. He has essentially put the needs of one player over the team's, and it has really cost him.

Sure, you could argue that Wenger was keeping Cech fresh. That's rubbish, though. Five days gap until the United clash is plenty of recovery time, and goalkeepers hardly exert a lot of energy.

Wenger's football style is out of date unfortunately. It's too easy to counter. We are unable to impose ourself on teams at the emirates and the balance of the team just feels way off.

The Olympiacos manager has suggested you aren't even interested in defending, and it's hard not to agree.

Fair enough, plus it would be an embarassment to the BPL if we lost

Pep/Tito had done that for years with Pinto...
Luis Enrique does that with Ter Stegen.
Ancelotti won the CL and La Liga doing that with Casillas + Lopez.

It's not game management, Cech or no Cech Arsenal should be beating Olympiacos and he had been starting for Arsenal last season so clearly he's not so bad that he can't play a tie vs Olympiacos.

Brah did you see that goal. He is that bad and I really wish he'd go away already. This mistake was waiting to happen.

I actually think that Wenger's game management was actually very good and positive; very unlike him. He usually waits till like 70+ minutes to do something but brought on ramsey earlier, which helped us get the equaliser with enough time to get the winner if we hadn't been so stupid defensively.

Only blame wenger deserves is the terrible job he's done with the make up of squad (Ramsey was the only reliable offensive substitution available). Something that will crop up again and again and again.........oh well one more summer of doing nothing and hopefully au reviour.

I'm gradually coming to accept that ox is never going to be good enough. He'll end up in Norwich in the next few years. He's disappointed every game this season. City should hurry up with the 40m bid.

Cazorla has to go. Has to go. Sorry but we've lost both champions league games with Cazorla there. It's not working. He needs to leave Arsenal ASAP.

It probably will tbh. The issue for Arsenal is actually getting six points. Wouldn't be surprised if you beat Bayern in one of the fixtures via a late Arshavin winner but then bottle it in one of your last two matches.
