    Hey, yeah i was trying to take in what they were telling us about the big jump and preparing myself and all that, but i still underestimated, chemistry especially! So as for revising, (i've got chem stats and mechanics mocks in jan, and physics and C1 maths didn't exactly go great.), i would recommend u try to adopt the mind frame of 'i love this subject tis the joy of my soul!' and when it all gets too much u could make a cup of tea and stare at it pretending ur thinking, like all the great genii/geniuses did/do if thats even a word. Im finding youtube the most helpful so far i cant really recognise any of my written class notes aha. Especially for maths and chem. I recommend AK Lectures they are great, but apologies if ur not into videos for revision. Good luck.

    Haha I haven't seen a lot of girls with it tbh, my friends that are girls have small neat joined up fancy writing but as soon as I left primary school I stopped joined up writing, hated it haha. My boyfriend on the otherhand has big scruffy writing and says mine is neat, at least mine is readable :P

    My handwriting is dependant on the pen.
    But if you could identify my handwriting as legible, then you would have to be a genius lol

    I'm also like that, cannot write with normal biro pens, otherwise my writing looks awful. If I use stabilo coloured pens, gel ink or free flowing pens my writing looks nice, I'm so picky with pens haha

    ok wtf

    The expansion of (a+x)^n where n\in\mathbb{N} has the form:

    a^n + ... + \alpha x^r + \beta x^{r+1} + \gamma x^{r+2} + ... + x^n

    a. Show that the ratio of \frac{\alpha}{\beta} is \frac{r+1}{n-r} a

    b. If a=1 show that the expansion will contain two consecutive terms with the same coefficient as long as n is odd.

    c. Using the result of part a. deduce and expression for \frac{\beta}{\gamma}

    d. Prove that there are no values for a such that in the expansion of (a+x)^n, n\in\mathbb{N}, three consecutive terms have the same coefficient.

    Is this for C1 maths?

    My writing is quite thin, and it's only neat if I'm actually fully alert, which isa rarity. I am also female.

    I kind of wished I played it now, all I used to do was play Spyro or whatever games I had on my PS1 or Gameboy. I never played many card-type games other than top trumps.

    Actually many people don't really get into the trading card game. Sad because I absolutely adore it.
