Can you explain the difference between the left hand rule and the right hand rule in Physics please? I don't really get it
This thread explains it really well : http://www.thestudentroom.co.uk/show....php?t=1938184

    Yep.I cried too
That paper screwed everything up for me!
    I got a B overall with an A in paper 1 and B in paper 2
I got an A in the paper 2 (that's the practical right? Dunno how), and a B in the Paper 1 (I had to learn it 2 days before as no teacher!). Overall A.
Where did you apply to, and for what?

Noo don't think like that! Do your best and that will be more than good enough.
Have you ever heard of a technique called mindfulness? You can by books on it and stuff. It is said to have helped people who have depression and anxiety. It helps bring you back to the present rather than worrying about the future - I feel miles better after trying a few of the techniques in a book I got given. I don't know if it will work for you but you could give it a try I guess? I hope it doesn't get too bad for you. If you ever need anyone to talk to just pm me

I'm just worried about one subject mainly, but the stress over it is so much worse than ever because I need a grade I just don't think I'm capable of, I can't stop thinking about it

I'll have to have a look into that mindfulness, thank you

Another way of thinking is that the calmer you stay the more you will learn when you revise and therefore you'll perform better in the exam

You can only do your best. And as long as you're trying your best you can't do anything more and everything will work out.

I second this. I never stress because I have faith in myself, and no stress = fun  obviously need some discipline too though! And obviously, don't become complacent

If the present is **** then there's no point staying grounded in the present is there

So I was asking for myself

Not gonna get an answer so doesn't matter

Talking to people helps as well. Or try looking at things a different way maybe. I admit it is difficult to see the positives in situations sometimes. If the present is tough for you maybe the opposite may be a better idea for you - try thinking about a better time in the future because stuff will get better. I'm sorry to hear life is not good for you at the moment but I promise you things will pick up. I hope you manage to start seeing the positives in things as it will make you feel a lot better
