I thought a bid was made for around £17 million so I think the original story from the German paper is made up. Gustavo won't reveal where his gonna go until the end of the International games.
Yeah I heard that number as well but tbh we won't really know. It could be wages it could be hes settle in germany could be loads of things. More than likely its made up.

Theo !!!! Good finish., thought he took to many small touches, but clearly he had the confidence. he definitely transformed this last and half, he's truly maturing, 2 seasons ago he would have panicked and fired one to road z. Seriously pleased he's finally confident and is playing good football.

Crosses have improved a lot. I think he will be our key man this season. If he can get his decision making better, he could improve a lot.

Pleased for him more than anything, was pretty much labelled a 'failure'by the press a year or so ago.

Yeah definitely agree, not sure he will be key man, think carzola will still be, but if a few people remain fit and a signing and Walcott performs consistently, we will be like other clubs and spread the responsibly around.

Totally agree and it's a two finger salut to the press.

Nice goal and great pass from Cleverley. I wanna see Wilshere make more of these killer passes in the red and white.

Another bit of positive news for you lot, Sky sports reporting that Etienne Capoue has passed his medical and will sign for Spurs next week.

    Paulinho
    Dembele
    Holtby
    Sandro
    Capoue
    Sigurosson

    Vs

    Cazorla
    Wilshere
    Arteta
    Ramsey
    Rosicky
    Diaby

Looks like Spurs are edging it in the middle of the park

Cazorla, Wilshere and Arteta better than any three they can make.

Spurs' midfield so ****ing robust now.

They can turtle up and go ultra defensive with a trio of Paul, Sandro, Capoue when they have to stop the opposition scoring or if they are pushed against the wall and need a vital goal then Dembele, Siggy, Paul will do. Paulinho is equally good in attack as he is in defence, but they can also use Holtby if need be. Arsenal don't have that.

if it goes through, the this is a huge huge push from spurs to get to CL football. arsenal need to respond.

The answer 'but its happened 16 years in a row' - is menaingless, when thigns arent constant.. - there has not been a single year, even last year, where I truely felt that spurs could do it..

    untill now.

Arsenal were 1pt ahead of spurs last year.

Since then spurs have improved and strengthened their squad, pretty significantly - adding to various positions, including the 1 that they most needed last season (CF)

With a stable manager as well, - its not farfetched to say that they are a significantly better team then last year.

Arsenal mean while (to my utter disapointment) have not strengthened at all... meerly 'not weekend'..

Something needs to happen. and fast.

otherwise spurs will have added the quality, to make up more then the 1pt difference.

(ofcourse arsenal could get a huge stroke of luck if bale goes...)

hopefully not one we actually want to sign..

As being linked with them seems to be the kiss of death for arsenal at the moment.

Not much flexibility with that trio though is there? Not forgetting that if one of the trio gets injured (especially Cazorla) then you're in trouble.
