What sort of calculations do people think are going to be on the paper?
    Moles? Concentration? Molarity?
I think i'm alright on molarity, i just hate, working out the mass of substances needed, or concentration >

    Just remember n=m/Mr
    or n= c x v(dm3) or n=c x v/1000
    and n=v/24 (dm3) or n= v/24000 (cm3)

I know its bare late to be saying this, but just look at titrations and look at moles and reactions in the book. Have a quick practice. Also, know about molar ratios in the formular like 2:1 ratios, so you know about halving or doubling the amount in moles.
    Good luck guys !!!

Yeah, I'm taking this, it's my retake. Need to get an A to make it easier in the Unit 5 exam!!! I keep on messing up on the bleach questions (NaClO etc). Spending tomorrow morning remembering bond angles and definitions =S...
Me too need to get an A really scared for the A2 june exam. the bleach questions are annoying just going to memorise it all tbh.

I think that exam was a lot nicer than the one in January.
    What do you think?
The questions i thought were quite hard were the calculations mostly, and maybe the experiment of thermal stability one.
Bit upset that we didn't have a Hess' Law question though. :p:

Really?! OMF, why the hell did out teacher spend like a whole frigging week on it then?!

lol, yeah, wasn't too sure on that one :/
i liked the heterogeous catalyts, mass spectrum, and water question. :p:

Hope i've atleast done better than last time XD

Erm, we had to right about the four stages of a heterogeneous catalysts, and then we had to draw a dot and cross diagram for the H2O molecule and explain its bond angle and shape?
There was also a question where we had to draw the other isomer of butane?
