    This.

Been to Rome 4 years ago (was awesome) and am finally going to Paris next month.
I went to Rome for the first time in October and Paris for the third (or fourth) a fortnight ago. Both were amazing

They really are the sister cities of the world.

I got through a whole week without being able to speak a word of Italian, and I survived.. so will you!
I managed to get addressed in Italian quite a lot, and boy the ego trip if I understood it :proud:

    Which would you chose?

    In terms of:
    Which is cheapest?
    Which is the most beautiful?
Which makes for the most romantic break?
Which is the most friendly to non French or Italian speakers? (I speak very, very basic Italian. Enough to order a pint, and get on the bus )

    Cheers guys
Regarding cost, I found Rome to be slightly cheaper.. just don't go to the pharmacy's in the centre. I wanted to buy after-sun, and the cheapest was 28 Euros.

Both are beautiful, but I fell more in love with Rome, I liked that parts of it was still quite old.

Italians I found were much friendlier.. and I speak more french than Italian!
