Best advice:

"You don't do schoolwork for the teachers, you do it for yourself. If the heart's not in, neither are the grades"
-Some sixth former while I was back in year 7

"Aim behind the object you're punching"
-Kickbox master (seriously improves your impact)

"We notice only change & contrast, know real pain and you will know real happiness"

"What's the difference between 'knowing' and 'thinking'? Arrogance only shows stupidity"
-Dude talking philosophy on the Bus

"Trust no one (but yourself)." - I remember being told this by my mother when I was a young child, and I am very grateful. Sounds sceptical, but I quickly learnt the deception of human nature.

- This advice sounds so simple, and yet it is very difficult to live by. We say we don't let opinions of others about us affect us, but we're mostly kidding ourselves.
