In my experience ,many Pakistanis are racist, particularly the ones in UK.

Is there some historical aspect to why there's such strong racism towards Blacks from Pakistanis? Or is this idea somehow attached to Pakistanis not liking darker skin?

Recently, couple of my friends went to Pakistan for their friends wedding in Karachi. One of the guys who went, is an African American. To keep it short, his experience didn't go so well! He said, he wasn't able to walk around carefree and just enjoy shopping or eating because he felt like there were always locals judging him or passing comments because he is Black.

From my experience, some Pakistani's have the view that all black people are chors, druggies, and a bunch of no-good criminals.

some Pakistanis' look down on Bengalis because they consider them ugly/inferior. No valid reason to do, Bengalis have done well for themselves but they are just considered 'different', even though both groups are Muslims.

One thing that doesnt make sense to me is for a nation that does the whole song and dance about religion, why it completely disregards what the religion has to say about preference over skin tone, race?

I generally think of Child grooming, Terrorism, Benefits cheats, Aggression, Gangs, Muslims, Forced marriage, Violence, Hate, Assaults, and Arrogance.

But I'm sure its not you guys, it must just be the media....

I also think of Pakistanis as being an extremely proud people, which is surprising as Pakistan has achieved very little. Even more surprising when you realise none of them want to live there.

I agree with you, they do have such an attitude a lot of the time but keep in mind such hostility is not only specific to Pakistanis but can occur, and I'm sure it does occur, vice versa too. Generally Pakistanis (those in Pakistan) will look strangely at any foreigner, be they African, Bengali or even, believe it or not, other Pakistanis who are brought up abroad.

Cricket, but the fact that the crowds seem really unsporting and don't applaud when the team they're playing against hits a good shot!

    I get wht you're saying.

BUT. The fact of the matter still is, that Blacks are seen nothing better than an animal. That is something I have heard from my pakistani friend, they aunties and uncles who don't even live in Pakistan. THIS is something I'm not able to comprehend.

WHAT HAPPENED for them to look at Blacks with such a negative perspective? That's why I was asking if there is some historical aspect to this.

If you tell a Pakistani, you're living with a Black person, they FREAK OUT!! As if you're unsafe or something. This type of mentality certainly cannot be good for your people, right?
