    lol, when I first glanced at the above post, I thought it was stuff you'd forgotten... would have to be pretty forgetful. Last term I forgot the digital camera I got for Christmas; that annoyed me. Luckily, rendezvoused with a parent in the second week and got it back

    I love that fact that everyone on this thread seems to eat huge amounts of hard boiled eggs. hehe.

    I am already making a list too! And making a seperate list for what each of my relatives can buy for my birthday present, thus making life a lot cheaper for me.

    My friend told me a story of this guy in his halls who got to uni with literally NOTHING. Not even a pen and paper. They called him 'Harry No-stuff'. Don't let this be you!

    mm i am gonna have a hard life trying to bring everything, with a 30 KG limit! honestly some students fly to the UK with almost 70-80 kg in their bags. tbh i can't be aksed, i ll buy basics before I leave and then everything when i go to uni.

    Oops, sorry! It' a lock for your laptop. Little metal scisor thing that goes into the security slot on teh laptop (if it has one) that has a padlock and strong metal wire so you can lock the laptop to the desk. Good for leaving it in libraries and stuff when you go and get a cup of tea or whatever- peace of mind. Also, my laptop is the most valuable thing in my room so I normally keep it locked to my desk.
