I won't argue that Islamic countries tend to have lessened rates of STI's, if you have the evidence to back that up.

It doesn't necessarily mean that a country is any better, The Quran advocates a husband taking advantage of his wife and compares it to plowing a field. Female oppression is still prevalent in these countries, and I really don't think anybody has the right to dictate their views on a sex life, personally.

I am not a virgin and I have never had an STI because I am cautious. Protection is easy enough to get hold of.

If you want to remain a virgin until marriage, that is fantastic. This doesn't give you some right to tell the OP to not have sex if he wants to, it really isn't your decision.

Your lying! The Holy Qur'an tells husbands to treat their wife well and women have the right to divorce if she is mistreated. Women are not treated like sex objects in the Muslim World. I was just merely advising the OP... an it's an good advice.

That's referring to sex positions, I believe, not saying men can do what they like with women.

Not really, I have issues with people telling me to keep my virginity until I am married, and how I have no sexual restraint if I don't. I don't give a flying f*** about religion or race. So don't try to pull the race card.

    No I am not denying anything. Again;

If you want to keep your virginity until marriage good for you

Sex before marriage is NOT harmful! It doesn't make a blind bit of difference, it is the persons choice if they want to have sex, not yours. If I want to have sex with 100 people that is my decision! Don't force your views down peoples throats.

The OP wanted tips on how to last longer because he WANTS to have sex. Which is HIS decision not yours.

If your girlfriend is not an ex-pornstar then you'll be fine. Most girls don't wish to be "drilled" for 20 minutes unless they get paid for it

TBH, women aren't very likely to orgasm from pentration anyway. Go down on her, use a lot of foreplay. Also, use numbing condoms and keep on practising.

Oh, and you could masturbate a bit beforehand so your tadpoles aren't ready to explode straight out of the tank.
That ended well in the betweeners xD

Are you really this ignorant? Why not post the Arabic, a long with the Classical tafsir of this verse (where context and linguistics will become clear).

Don't get why people get into things they're clueless about.

Fair enough, but why did you use the holy Qur'an against my statement when I said nothing religious and just mentioned the role of STD in the Islamic world ?

Many translations, including my own Quran, translate it as however and whenever. Rape.

Because I can't read Arabic. And the only translations I have are the English translations. Just like why I never read my Grandmothers Torah, I look at the English Translation.

    PLEASE KEEP ANON

I'm 24 and I recently met a girl (23) that is literally perfect, she's beautiful, intelligent, funny and we get on incredibly well.

We've engaged in a relationship and things are going very well, however I know that soon we will be engaging in sex and I'm terrified.

I've been in university for 4 years now and I haven't had a girlfriend throughout this time or even for the immediate years that preceded it, which is why I am so happy with this girl I have met at the moment, I just know that there could be real future in this relationship.

The reason why I am terrified is that I suffer from premature ejaculation, and can't last longer than a few minutes during sex. I knew this day would eventually come (when this would impact on a future relationship of mine) and I want nothing more than for her to be happy, and knowing she won't be, will inevitably lead to the relationship having a very real finite duration.

In anticipation I have tried everything over the years to make myself last longer and to no avail, I think it's just imprinted in me that I will never last longer than 5 minutes in bed.

My question is, is it possible to satisfy a girls sexual needs without long lasting penetrative sex, I don't care about myself having orgasm and I will make sure that she is as satisfied as possible throughout the time we are having sex, it just won't all be penetrative.

What I am asking girls (especially those who have any of you been in this position before) is this a sustainable outlook to have on the relationship? Or will the day come when she realises that this just isn't enough for her.

I am willing to make this girl so happy in any way possible and and I'm sure will one day she will mean an incredible amount to me. I suppose I am just looking for some realistic opinions on the situation and even though I appreciate that you guys don't have enough information to make informed analysis, it would be great to hear what you think the future may have in store for us?
You will grow out of your problem after some months with the girlfriend, UNLESS you are constantly fretting about it. That's how it works when it's something that's all in your head.

I have the opposite problem, I find it very hard to ejaculate in a new position/doing a new act. It's horrible and it's all in my head. I wish you the best of luck.

By the way, in bold, would you ever hear a girl say this about a guy?

Because I can't read Arabic. And the only translations I have are the English translations. Just like why I never read my Grandmothers Torah, I look at the English Translation.
Yes, but surely someone must've told you how important Arabic is for the Qur'an? Unlike the Bible, when you read a translation of the Qur'an, that's what it is; "An English translation of the Qur'an".

You'll never (or rarely) ever see it say on the cover; "The Qur'an" and there's a good reason for it.

Anyways, the verse has two contexts, one to do with reason for revelation (which believe it or not, was in defence of women, against a Jewish superstition about them) and the second was a famous 7th century simile, as understood by those who first heard the revelation (which again, would mean to take good care of your wife, and has nothing to do with degrading or demeaning).

You're not going to get any of that from just copy and pasting a translation. More dangerously, you ended up interpreting it completely in contradiction; which makes you wonder as to how you're different to the extremists, who do the same thing, self interpretation and end up justifying murder (obviously you don't murder, but the same flawed concept/approach is used) .
