    Drinking is fun, it relaxes me and makes me more confident and happy. Clubbing is **** though but unless you want to go home at 12 o'clock you don't have much choice. Theres a few places that are like pubs that are still open after 12am but not many.

    I don't understand my brother that goes out clubbing three nights a week and he doesn't understand the sports I play, why I read or the other stuff I do for fun. It is the way of the world. It is no big deal.

    It seems like the majority of people at uni go out drinking and clubbing because you frequently here about the 'uni experience' or 'student life' but in fact there is much more to it than that. Go to societies, have a quiet film night in with friends, play sport or whatever else takes your fancy and you will meet people with the same interests as you and the not clubbing/drinking will not ever be an issue.
