Okay, an easier one or at least I think it's easier.

Without windows, without doors, full house of wives. What it is? :teehee:

It's green, inside there are lots of them and they all are round and edible :gah:
Green pomegranate (if there is such a thing)?

I hope no one minds but I want to post another riddle...

What will attract attention but have no real value?

The first person to answer correctly will get to choose between a rainbow and a pot of gold.

    I'm sorry that's not it.

    More hints:
    -It's a 2 word answer.
    -It's red
-One of the above 2 hints is misleading

    doesn't have any value
but gets a lot of attention
    and is two words.

    is it the . . .

    Philosopher's stone?

The Potter fans on TSR is like 90% of why I love this website lol. BUT the Philosopher's stone has value! It can make you immortal and turn stuff to gold.

edit; not 'immortal' actually. Live longer? Like Flamel?

Well, it produces the elixir of life, remember, which can make a person immortal as long as they drink it. Mr and Mrs Flammel were turning 600 and something. Then they decided to destroy the P.S. because of Voldermort and I'm kinda going on, aren't I?

Anyway, back to the riddle. This is tough!

Nice try but idioms are expressions that aren't meant to be taken literally. But I think that wasn't really your answer?

    Fool's gold?
    But it's not red.

    ................................ ..........................

Hello! I'm back. I'm pleased to see some cool responses although none of them are right.

I'll give you guys more hints:
    1) Something that attracts attention
    2) "Have no real value" can be taken to mean "have no real importance"
    3) Good knowledge of idioms is needed to solve the riddle
    4) It's a 2 word answer
    5) It's red
    6) Something to do with fish

    I think I've said enough

YES! You used the fish hint quite effectively so great job!

Emcat, would you prefer a rainbow OR a pot of gold?
