I really hope that that isn't the goal of the tournament, though.
    How come?

If James scored cahills goal and vice verca, people would still say cahills goal was goal of the tournament simply because its Cahill.......

That goal was nowhere near the class of Cahill's. Not even close.
How? James had his back to goal and had to set it up for himself on the spin. Cahill was at a better position to score.

    He is closer than most.
    No at all.

Both the greatest we have ever seen. No-one remotely comes close besides Zidane.

    Bale's hair looks awful.
It sounds like his voice hasnt broken properly either. Footballers just shouldnt do adverts tbh.

Because it'll mean there are more special goals to come in this tournament.

As much as both his and Cahill's goal were great, to think we've hit the high point already when we've got all the rest of the second round, the quarters, the semis and the final still to come...

Because it's easier to sweetly hit a ball that you've just chested than one that's coming across your body onto your weaker foot

Not with your back to goal on the turn, that lessens the chances. You're just vexed up that James signed for Monaco instead of United when Ferguson wanted him. James had to chest it down and set it up which is even more difficult. You see more players score volleys like Cahill's then James in real life. I've not seen too many players score volleys with backs to goal.

I didn't even know that lol. He joined Monaco when Fergie had already left

You see more people score them because they're more likely to try them when they can see the goal. But they normally mess it up because they don't have the technique
