I dunno we all just found it weird seeing the woman our form teacher knocked up walking around  They weren't married or anything but everyone knew about it. In our school so many teachers had affairs with each other it was ridiculous
Haha oh thats crazy. The staffroom must've been gossip central xD

On a slightly related note, South Korea, Singapore and Japan have some of the lowest birth rates in the world.
That is partly because many women opt to have babies later in life, usually in their 30s in Singapore these days. It is rare to also find girls setting up families young as out-of-wedlock children is still mostly taboo and it is quite difficult to register that child birth or get that child into a government school.

The other is in both Singapore and SK it is hugely expensive to have and raise a child or at least if you want to do a good job at it that is. No welfare benefits, no child benefit etc though you do get a baby bonus in some years.

Do chinese women wear loose fitting clothing when pregnant or what?
Most East Asian girls generally don't show much of a bump during pregnancy till around the middle of the 2nd trimester. Usually by the middle of the 3rd trimester most tend to keep a very low profile and usually beyond going to work they don't really go anywhere.

Yes they always wear looser fitting clothes during pregnancy as there is some old-wives tale about wearing tight or body hugging clothes during pregnancy.

Have I seen any east-asian pregnant females? Plenty. SIL, friends, cousins and aunts.
