Newly promoted teams tend to do well on the first day ie. Burnley beat United a few years ago
City winning 2-0 away to Newcastle isn't that low lol (brb it was 2-0 last year)
    what's wrong with 2-2 QPR-Hull?

    I have a feeling you're a troll m9-1, reported.

That wasn't first day, and Chelsea will be on a high with new signings plus Burnley haven't strengthened enough for the PL, they have a tight budget and considering they play 2 up top (I doubt they'll drop Ings/Vokes) they'll leave themselves vulnerable. Maybe can see them fretting a goal but it'll be 3-1 or something like that.

Newcastle are terrible lmao. Fair they've signed some decent players but City usually open very strongly with a flurry of goals. I expect a reaction to the Community Shield defeat as well so they'll come out all guns blazing.

QPR and Hull aren't really two teams known for high goal scoring exploits. Expect a cagey affair, Harry will want points on the board and will most likely have 2 banks of 4 behind the ball when they don't have it. Personally I expect 0-0 or 1-1.

    Inb4 didn't read.

    tl;dr

    Spoiler:
    Show

    not srs

First home game then, point still applies

Their first three away games last year they scored 2,0,2. If it was at home I agree they'd win 3 or 4-0 but not away.

Nah, Hull have Long and Jelavic, QPR have Remy. 2-2 trust me (I might change that one lol)
