    Most of my friends from uni were from doctor/dentist families and those were pretty much the two options they had lmao.
    But seriously, they liked healthcare but the financial/business side of dentistry was more appealing - not to mention the working hours/training years after medicine at uni didn't appeal to them
    I will say at uni we had a heavier workload than medics, however after uni it wasn't even comparable - medics had it 100X worse.
