Is freshers for the whole campus or for individual courses because I'm sure on the open day my course leader said we were going camping haha

I would think it is for everyone but I'm not sure. Do you know the date of the camping trip? Might be the week after. Or, do you know your course leader and you could ask. Most course leaders are listed on the side of the course page on the uni's website, so have a look there.
Also, what course are you on?

It could be the second week. I might have it totally wrong. I'm doing outdoor activities and leadership. What about you?

Freshers is for 2 weeks. I have worked that out from the facebook page
    Buxton Freshers' Fortnight 2015.

You are the closest I have found so far to someone on the same course or in the same flat as me. I am doing Foundation Outdoor Activities.

Aren't you worried you'll miss 'all the action' if you're not in halls?

Does that mean halls is allways noisy and busy? This is one of the things I am worried about being a problem for me.

Honestly, if no ones too fussed about freshers 'nightlife' and just want to take advantage of free pizza, let me know! I'm game!

Yes please! Do you not like people and noise too?

Do you think it will be busy on saturday 12th? (That is when most people arrive? Do I have the right date for it?) I am thinking about going back home like I will do most other weekends becuse it will be too busy. But, I then worry I will miss the first opportunity for people to meet me, they think I am strange for not beeing there, so they get to know each other so by the time I get back I am weird, judged and hated before ive even seen them . =picked on for the rest of the year.

I'll make sure that doesn't happen to you don't worry (: I planned to go as early as possible to move in before everyone. I'm an introvert. Always happy to talk to people and socialise but love my along time haha

I plan to aviod people as much as possible haha. I got no idea about socialising. But yeh, still not sure if its a good idea or not.

Because I'm 6 ft 3 and will scare them with that haha. Well that's cool. I plan to study loads anyway and avoid nights out drinking. You and me can chill. I know my flat mate, she's really cool and I don't think she's up for drinking so we can stay in and be the kings of the nerds haha

Ha! Honestly, I feel the same as you two! Im not really up for nightlife, i'd much rather study and save money rather than going out every night and waste it! So you both are going camping on your course? Thats so cool!
