Well no:lolwut:, I always get job offers on my email, so if I can why can't anyone else, maybe she shoud just look for help to improve her CV, prostitution should be a last resort.
What are you talking about? People do not randomly get job offers on their email...

What will you do in a situation where you say no, or that he has to wear a condom, and he doesn't listen.

Or someone who refuses to pay.

How will you manage to make sure no-one forces you to do things you're not comfortable with?
I'll be working through an agency so they provide a driver. I'm getting a rape alarm, panic button and legal mace but yes, rape and murder will obviously be occupational hazards

Well, how many men out there would be willing to marry a woman who is an escort and had sex with thousands of men. Also, If you have a boyfriend/ husband, I doubt they can distinguish between the thin line between work and cheating, whether or not you have emotions attached to clients. I would say it is not exactly self respect since most men and women will not respect an escort, it is too easy to get with just money. It is a realistic world And yes, if a women want to have sex with a lot of men just for entertainment and with no money involved, it gives a reason for them to say they just enjoy it, nothing more. In this case, it is at least considered more self-respecting than an escort. Just giving my opinion.

Hence I'm worried about your safety :/

You're not just putting customers in a position of trust, but also the agency.

I assume this is the 'pepper spray':
http://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B00NNUEVL...ppersprayuk-21

It stains but it doesn't contain anything that would put someone in pain or incapacitate them as far as I know.

Why don't you do escorting without sex. So you just join men for meals or business events. That way you won't have to have sex with random men and you won't have the dangers of being alone in a room with them.
Look on the Internet and do lots of research to find a reputable agency

You sound really passionate about this, I'm guessing you've done escorting before or know someone personal.

If you did a survey of 5000 people most would say escorts don't have self respect from themselves.

It's cheap, dirty and disgusting. Let's not even talk about the men who pay the scum

5000 people who aren't escorts, and therefore don't know whether they respect themselves or not. The escort I'm friends with is neither cheap, nor dirty, and certainly not disgusting. Although she doesn't like Game Of Thrones, so we can't watch it together :'(

Will people on this thread please stop pretending to know whether someone respects themselves or not? Fair enough, you don't respect the position, most of you make that fairly clear, but please stop using the very cowardly and condescending tactic of trying to convince someone they don't respect themselves because THAT is nothing more, than your opinion. I disagree, I think of course you can sell the skills you have just as you would any other job, while maintaining a sense of self-respect.

I'm thinking of going into sex work part time (just about 8 -10 clients) a week outside of my usual job.

Any tips on how to detatch myself emotionally during sex ? Thank you
Hey there,

Please, I urge you not to listen to some of the vile opinions I've read on this thread. You are completely within your right to trade in sexuality as much as you please. It's legal in the UK currently, it's just soliciting for sex which is illegal. Often times escorting doesn't even include sex: my friend earns a **** load every week, and she doesn't have many clients.

If you are gonna go for it, be safe, and don't feel obligated to do anything that's asked, it's completely okay to have boundaries. I wish you the best miss!

Lol. If your partner one day said they were a prostitute, would you be okay with it?

Unbelievable. Get lost this is a student site not one where you can advertise yourself and your filthy ways.
So offering work and keeping her safe rather than her selling herself to people in an uncontrolled potentially unsafe situation is on then?!

How ironic when you're the one selling your body to men. Women who do this are disgusting and have no respect for themselves.
What type of work is having sex and letting guys use your body? that's not work, thats scum.

Best thing is to find a proper job and who said anything about being in an uncontrolled environment don't twist my words

I am not twisting any words, it is upto an individual what they do with their OWN body. I am mearly offering a solution to a problem without being in potential danger!!

it's not her own body when plenty of guys have used it, in fact i would say it's not even a body, it's a sex machine

You are very blinkered, it is still her body no matter what she does with it.. She has the power to say no at any point she wishes to do so!
But the solution I have put forward means she is not meeting strangers in say a hotel, nor is she being used in anyway.
Ultimately what she does is entirely upto her and not you or me.. I respect your opinion but don't have to agree with it..
It's people like you that have made this country very prudish and then what happens is things get hidden underground where abuse is never uncovered until it is far too late!!!
You need to stop being so blinkered and start seeing the bigger picture...

It should come naturally. I find sex to be almost completely devoid of any emotion or passion if you're having it with someone who you don't love or have feelings toward. That's the thing about sex, it can be emotionless or very passionate.

So just because someone likes a lot of sex they have no self respect. Ok... Yup. Sure.
It's how it's done. I think if someone has sex because they want money - that's no self-respect because you're selling your self-respect for money.

If you went out to have sex, because you liked it, then why not just have different "**** buddies"? Surely that's more better than having sex in exchange for money, right?
