I assumed you were, it wasn't an ironic rep. I live in the Borough and yeah, although a lot of people look down on it and think it's a mess of social problems, etc, it's actually a vibrant, fun place to live in many ways, esp. around Whitechapel area where I spend quite a lot of time.

This is stupid on so many levels. :facepalm2:

Shoreditch is part of the London Borough of Tower Hamlets and the London Borough of Hackey is a completely separate borough in its own right.

Don't call me stupid, it's not that deep. Call the person who asked, stupid. I did say "I think."

But I KNOW it is officially part of Hackney! And Hackneyy is in Tow Ham. None of this "own rights." **** off kindly, sir.

I never called you stupid; but your comment was indeed very stupid.

It's a different borough. How do you 'know' something which is obviously false? :hmmmm2:

From my life experiences and for this conversation, several sources. Here's the quickest one, lets have a copy/paste war

ShoreditchFrom Wikipedia, 51.526°N 0.078°WShoreditch is an inner city district in the historic East End of London and modern Central London[1] within the London Borough of Hackney, lying immediately to the north of the City of London.

I concede that Shoreditch is at least partially in the borough of Hackney. Will you also admit that Hackey is not 'in' Tower Hamlets?
