Perhaps for the sake of simplicity we should consider the Privy Council as being reset with the Great Repeal? We're never going to find details of cabinets from 2006 or whatever to make a complete list.
    (Original post by Birchington)
That's the best course of action. I'll give leaders time to make their appointments and then confirm a final list when ready.
Heavily against that and screws over the only the Tories and Socialists.

We have enough old members to know who the privy council is..

For the Tories its myself, Bun, LP and Krollo. For the Socialists its probably just Sticky Little Fingers.

Depends why they are sticky, is it really that bad for somebody to have just eaten a doughnut?

I don't eat doughnuts - they don't contain meat and I'm trying to cut down on my snacking.

Sorry, I was rather unclear last night - I was talking about setting the line at doing in from the original Great Repeal, not the more recent one, if we're compiling a list. Us two are among the very few who are probably around from before that stage, and even then only by a couple of terms - I certainly couldn't tell you anything from the first six years of the House.

Although it appears as though Cabinets were bought in after the May 2007 General Election, and the first official cabinet was as follows:

    Acaila - Prime Minister
Nefarious - Deputy Prime Minister and Chief Whip
    Craghyrax - Minister of Hats
wesetters - Minister for Processed Meat Products
Ana - Minister for Wardrobe Monsters
    *Mike* - Minister for Nothingness
daniel_williams - Minister of Silly Walks
Talya - Minister of Log Flume Transport
Agent Smith - Minister for the Sinister
Mr Mortell - Minister for Word Creation
Deus - Minister of Logical Nonsense
ashy - Minister of Dubious Noises
Dude - Minister of Time And Relative Dimensions In Space
Chewy! - Bonza Minister for all that is Most Excellent and Bodacious

(For those who can't guess, this was a Monster Raving Loony Party Government!)

I would have loved to see what their opposition looked like. Such a cabinet would be interesting to see now.

From what I can see there was no Shadow Cabinet - the second largest party was Labour. The Conservatives had been shut down due to inactivity.

    Fair enough.

It was the first battle I recall here. I arrived initially just as Nothos was being made leader but was never really active until the summer.

I was around for a small while before it but do remember it being massively controversial. It made sense though especially as much of the early legislation was nowhere near to what we'd consider an acceptable standard now.

Well at the time i believe the reasoning was based around failing activity which it failed to bolster (the Mhoc was near collapse in the 14th parliament).

Those of you who recall my attempt to resurrect the MRLP will be surprised to be disappointed at the lack of certain ministeries in this government. No Minister for Yorkshire Tea for example.

In RL during my MRLP days I was the Shadow Minister for the Dome, Culture and Cricklewood.

Back to the Privy Council. Are we sure that all of those named are still active in TSR land, as it were?

What on earth's the point in that?
Just have people say whether they are or aren't. It's fairly simple.
It was just an idea at the time. The Privy Council is pretty flexible so it seems easier if people self-appoint. If anyone is seriously opposed to someone joining the PC, I can always step in to mediate a decision.

I know- but a very silly idea, so I felt I had to point that out. Has now all been cleared up though, so we can just continue as we were.
