    For a supposed rational Atheist,
How else am I supposed to push the kind of conclusions rational Atheism leads to to the back of my head?

I guess unlike most atheists I want to enjoy life?

So there is currently some sinister other worldy fog engulfing us. Is it an alien life form targeting our airports?

I was attacked by it myself whilst out on my bike today. It was all sunny and warm like a summers day, not a cloud in the sky. Then out of nowhere I'm on busy main road that is dodgy for cyclist at the best of times caught in thick fog and no lights :eek3:

I got some good pictures though It was like being on a mountain top.

That picture was taken from Ramsaw Rocks and the hill in the background is Henn Cloud (fitting name ). It's in the Peak District.

Interestingly, apparently the word "cloud" (cf. "clod" was originally a word for a mountain of rock, as preserved in the name of Hen Cloud. This creative analogy, seeing clouds as floating rock formations, displaced the earlier "welkin" still reflected in the German for cloud.

I'm not telling you what to believe spiritually, I'm telling you to be less of a pussy.
Do you think I sincerely believe we are being attacked by an alien cloud?

Being concerned about being hit by a lorry doing 60 is kind of scary... in a total rational atheistic kind of way.

Woah steady on there. Are you not a rational atheist?

Scrotgot thinks clouds are mountains everyone :teehee:

    That is interesting though.

I have fog most days, so luckily everyone drives 30 in a 60 in the winter here anyway.

Well it doesn't surprise me that it wouldn't surprise you.

I also like to pretend I am in middle-earth when I am out where I took that photo.

Possibly there was a coven of Tory councillors meeting in the valley below conjuring the fog to disguise their monstrous bat-like forms

There was a similar event recently in Manchester
