What makes you think listening to Nirvana makes you alternative?
The archetype band every teenager going through a rebellious period in the 90s listened to? Name dropped purely for self-deprecating reasons.

Apparently i'm a Trendie, of course I didn't identify with any of the answers and just picked the least horrible.
So basically you picked the path of least resistance?.....Thats exaclty what a trend follower does.

I looked up the definition and I don't think the quiz is very good, most people on here seem quite puzzled by the answer they were given.

I find it so cringey when people over 25 try to create labels for people under 25 based off their perceptions of how we act.

Over 24's? You're a little old, but join in anyway (you can always google the verdict)
    Ouch...

How ‘in the know’ are you?

It’s not about being in the know, it’s about being ahead of the curve
I’m pretty up to date with current music, popular TV and fashion
I’m most clued up with what’s going on in the urban scene
My interests lie with alternative band culture and cult TV shows
I’m an expert at discovering new trends before they break
That said I am completely stumped by this question.

Where is the option for people who are "clued up" with Osborne's pensions reforms and who most recently discovered new bands when they were written about in the Guardian reviews section?

Shopping for some new threads, and then heading to my mates to listen to the latest beats and chill
    Criiiinge...

I meant when out of touch TV producers try portray the subcultures while only possessing a very superficial knowledge about them. Like when you see goths or metalheads portrayed in the media.

Metaller, unsurprised by that (but the term, channel 4, is metalhead). Some of the questions though really need a none of the above option (like the one scrotgrot posted)
