    Personally I think early jay z is in for a shout tbh, some stuff from Reasonable doubt still takes my breath away

    Agreed. That album was a work of art.


    It's a shame that he had to dumb down his lyrics for his fans. Lyrically Jay-z is always top 10 ever.

    Yeah it's shocking how much his work has regressed to make it more commercial, wish he would just put out one last world class album

    It might sound stupid but this is actually my favourite Jay-z album.

    I just feel like he didn't really attach too much stroy telling into this, just him showing off his lyricism.
