Warwick maths module pages are pretty decent...I wouldn't be scared, I guess you just need a different mindset to A level. After all, 70%+ is the pinnacle at university in that there's no difference between 70 and 100 in terms of what your degree is at the end..so there's more "room" so to speak which makes up for it being harder to be fully knowledgeable on something. And of course that applies to the other degree classes as well.

Though I am not Zacken, STEP is vicious..
The scary bit is that I need to pass this year to get to university, like how did you cope?

Trust me, if I'm capable, then you most certainly are. :yep: What are your lit revision methods?
It is intense, I spend 8 hours a day moaning about it, I'm so whiny
I retell too much, I'm a bad analyser and it so annoying. Fgs and I do revision cards for quotes, write themetically so I match quotes with characters and themes and I practise writing essays. Yours?

They are. :sadnod: Coursework isn't much better, though. :cry2:

Think positive, you want the fast cars and rich husband right?

    (Original post by fatima1998)
tfw you are trying to know every little detail and you still think its not enough to get you marks
trying my best to revise but nothing is sticking into my head :cry2:
FML that is so true, my life right there. I might just give up, it is the right way to go.

I write my quotes down on lined A4 paper, and list them under themes. I've given up with revision cards now.
I've also used sticky notes on my wall à la Gingerbread101 - it works because when I lose my attention I just glance around and read them.
We practise essays in class so I don't really do that much at home.
Good methods, keep at it - you're going to do so well :woo:

    Yh.... Exams... Duh!
Those exams where people can cheat cos they sit right next to each other...
e.g. half of the clever people in my class, talk to the other half of the clever people and cheat...
BTW I used to cheat with some girl in Year 7 exchanging answers.......,................. ..............,............,.... .........,.,.,..........
But I gave it up... You don't learn anything frm it

Thank you very much, sounds like you do the same methods as me virtually. I do essays at home now as study leave has begun and ooh what would you do if a question came up and you aren't prepared?

I'd just try to do it to the best of my abilities, I'm good at winging things, it's got me this far with moderate success :awesome:
We did an essay in class which stumped me, but I tried not to overthink it and got a high A. So, what I take from that is to approach it by going through your wider reading one by one and analysing even the most tenuous links? :dontknow: Oh gosh, I really don't know - you've got me worrying now!
