    Wow, nice.
Would you recommend any reading material re: Investing?
I don't really know anything you could read up on since I was taught by someone who does it daily. I.e. He would tell me when/what/why to invest in certain things for quite a while until now I no longer need it. Now we help each other

I don't know if you've come across investing through Barclays' site (I think it's their site) but they let you invest with fake money, kind of like a game but it uses real live data and that could be a way for you to gain some experience/knowledge.

This isn't really a reputable source to learn from but apparently there's a subforum on Reddit that has a step by step guide to everything you need to know which is better than nothing I'd assume. I'm not sure if any of this helped lol but feel free to ask for specifics if you need

    What form of investments?
Are you "clued-up" on financial dealings and market shares and such?
Mostly just stocks and shares, tbh my best mate knows a LOT more about it than I do so I just do whatever he's doing and we seem to do pretty well

As title says, what would you do with a spare £5k?
    put £500 in my ISA
then invest £4,500 in buying a nice piece like a yellow gold rolex datejust which is worth about £8,000 and repeat the process

    10% in savings(£800), 25% to spend(£2000) and the remainder to reinvest(£5200)

then invest in buying a nice piece like a 2.5ct diamond platinum solitaire ring which is worth about £14,000 and repeat the process10% in savings(£1400), 25% to spend(£3500) and the remainder to reinvest(£9100)

Invest it, turn it into more money,
Invest some in a development project and then keep the rest (for further investment),
    Invest more into development projects,
Solve all the world's problems, but keep some for myself still,
    Invest that,
Buy the world, become the leader of an omni-peaceful world

I would invest it into mutual funds/stocks. Alternatively, I might deposit it into my trading account and attempt to make a greater return.
