    lol

All these big scary words. If the EU is really that bad, why do you need to lie about it? It's not undemocratic. British MEPs make up 10% of the European Parliament. It's more democratic than the UK.
This guy is a joke. I can bet people even from your side think you're a joke.

The only thing that is scary is the fact that Turkey might get visa-free travel, decades is within my lifetime so yes it is scary.

Of course it's undemocratic, if we make up 10% we then barely have an influence. Plus, we as people don't have a right to vote them out, we only get to vote for who is MEP and what not, not exactly democratic is it.

I know Westminster is bad, but the EU is worse, don't ever say that. You're a sellout to this country, clearly don't want nationalism.

By the way, you still owe me a response to your thread. You know, simply ignoring people trying to talk, or doing tit for tat answers, isn't really improving how people think of you.

So you think it should be 100% UK MEPs?

My constituency only has 1MP in parliament. How undemocratic is that?

But the EU is the bigger picture. Those 10% probably can't stop any policies that they want to enforce on all EU countries and we can't fire them. However, here we have that right to vote people out.

The people who elect Caroline Lucas can't rely on their one representative to stop all the things they disagree with.

What is the difference between that and the EU?

    All constituencies have one MP...

The difference is, one we can vote someone out, the other one we can't. Which one is therefore democratic?

You're not even technically literate enough to quote me. (and it doesn't take much to be able to do so..) This is hilarious.
Notice how you don't reply to the rest of my points, pathetic.
Stop talking, you're embarrassing yourself kiddo.

Well, I disagree. The EU gets stuff done because it's not democratic. We need expensive and radical climate change legislation, but nobody will introduce it because the voters don't want to sacrifice some £££ to secure a future for their grandkids. The EU can make those hard decisions that are better for all of us in the long run.

10% in a parliament of 28 countries, that gives us more influence than almost every other country in the EU. When you elect an MP, that MP makes up about 0.15% of Parliament, and that's the same regardless of how many people live in your constituency so some constituencies have less power than others.
Omg you are literally arguing against the existence of our entire society, when you fight for those rights maybe you will be able to realise how important they are.

Also we vote for 73 MEPS out of a total of 751 which would make each MEP worth only 0.13 which oh look is even less than an MP. Also that MEP represents a much larger population than any MP. Every argument you put forward is flawed or just plain disgusting.
