Not when I was a kid, now they don't care. Double standards don't hold up to scrutiny when you're in your 20's.
However the c-word is still a definite no no for my mum.

God no, I'd have been smacked if I did.
but as I got older i did start to casually swear every now and again. i still know my limits, i certainly can't swear directly at anyone in front of my parents but if i swear out of anger they usually allow it

No they'd tell my siblings and I off for it as kids, yet at the same time they'd both openly swear around us . My mum probably won't mind as much now I'm older (but would still probably still pull me up for being "un-ladylike") but it's not very often I swear unless I'm angry/upset.
