Yes, if they cannot prove their British ancestry to at least 500 BC.
I'm pretty sure that includes every single human on Earth.

Native British are not willing to do these jobs because they are underpaid.

If employers couldn't find anybody to do these jobs, they would have to rise wages until people start applying.

The problem is that employers can still fill these vacancies by importing cheap labour, for whom the British minimum wage is still better than what they have in their country.

    Do you understand?
First, no. There is another alternative: to stop offering those kinds of jobs a those levels. I.e. cut employment.

Second, that's most definitely not "the" problem. Fewer resources are allocated to labour and more resources could be allocated for research and development (say cancer research) creating more high paying, better quality jobs for "natives" (if they're up to it).

That's a good thing, not a bad thing despite what "patriots" say.

Nobody ever said that immigrants working for the NHS should be deported.
Are you drunk or something? For the past few pages, nearly half of the posts have been about deporting immigrants in general. Nowhere do I see specified that "immigrants working for the NHS shouldn't be deported".

That doesnt have to do with anything. All countries one day have another have colonised large portions of the world, it doesnt mean everyone should all open up their borders

There will always be a need for cleaners, shelf stackers, fruit pickers, etc. There is no need to import foreign workers for these jobs.

Not everybody can work in cancer research, you know.

Deporting them would lose us our bargaining chip. We should hold them on the Isle of Wight in a detention centre until the EU decide to play ball.

No there won't be unless the producers can make a better profit than they could in other industries. Otherwise they will shift their capital to more profitable industries. There will be a shortage of fruits and they will be imported. There will be a black market for illegal immigrant cleaners and shelf stackers (witness the US). Etc. The fantasy that leaving the EU is going to result in less migration is partly based on reality. There will be less legal migration but illegal migration will skyrocket. Guaranteed. What won't happen is that businesses will suddenly become charities with little regard to profits.

Also, most EU migrants are not unskilled so those examples aren't even representative. Most EU migrants are better educated than native Brits.

And I didn't say everybody. This was only one example the general point of which was to show that migration can lead to increased employment in better-paying, more attractive industries than cleaning and shelf stacking (if people are up for it ofc -- many Brits don't have the skills to get better jobs and this is a large reason why they dislike immigration).

Perhaps not quite so funny when you see erudite, perspicacious, and prescient, well mannered, socially conscientious humanitarians, from cultured, liberal, tolerant, and inclusive metropolitan backgrounds, calling for a moratorium on mass/Third World/Muslim migration, and for the repatriation of disparate peoples e.g. in the interest of social harmony/cohesion, public order, safety, and security, peace, progress and prosperity

Shelf stackers, cleaners, etc. are jobs that cannot be moved abroad. Employers will have to pay more if they can't find anybody.

Not all of them, that's the point. Let's only take the skilled ones.
