It's pointless voting even if you are in a marginal since the chances of it being won by a single vote are huge and even if it was there'd be a recount and there'd bound to be a few other votes 'found'.

And anyway that one seat probably wouldn't decide the election.

Frankly I'm amazed anyone ever bothers.

    Just sayin.
I know, FPTP makes it pointless for large swathes of the country.

I only do on principle as I see it as my license to complain.

So you don't actually want a party that will preserve the lords?

    Posted from TSR Mobile
From the Conservatives 2010 manifesto: "We will work to build a consensus for a mainly-elected second chamber" which would have replaced the Lords if Parliament had passed the proposals during the Coalition government of 2010.

Since I do not trust any party to protect the Lords, I have to make my decisions based on other factors. If a party explicitly promised to protect the Lords, or even to restore them to their former glory, then I would probably vote for them.

Someone who has only voted in one election, for the Lib Dems in 2010, voting for Theresa May.

I'd vote for Labour, I like Corbyn and his ideas and his socialist view and I have nothing against him HOWEVER I just don't belive he's strong enough to be Prime Minister imo.

I think, I probably will vote Labour. :dontknow:
