Right, so what's your argument for Adhsur explicitly telling d on 4/5 occassions that she didn't want to be moderator because she didn't want to moderate, but he gave her the power to mod and she often talks about her "extra power" - Yet when it comes to deleting posts she often sates how its a chore, boring and she can't be bothered half the time.
Even though she doesn't enjoy it she still does the job...the "extra power" comments are in the main jokes/teasing/banter and in some cases a way to deal with spammers/trolls and muppets like dazya.

Infact, why shouldn't you replace her?
because I wouldn't accept even if I was asked

    If you say so...
BTW, if youy're trying to make a point, you should usually use valid reasons backed up by facts.
    indeed.

The point is, it was her decision, not yours. She can do whatever she likes, for whatever reason she likes, and it has nothing to do with you.
and hence complaints and suggestions would be legitimate.

Why? It was her personal decision, she'd already made it, what was the point of Bono going on, and on, and on, about what she should be doing instead. His problem is, he just won't give up.

You are going to tell me that people with much lower than AAAA at AS Level don't beg their teachers for hgiher predicted grades and often get them, purely for the sake of their application rather than "the truth"?

Sorry if I'm not naive enough..

The bribery was an exaggeration (may well be true, people have bribed admissions tutors to get into Oxbridge before), but the point is all the same.

The predictions are often not correct.
Of course they want higher predictions, but teachers know what they're capable of getting so often won't be unrealistic. A guy in my class didn't get an offer from his first choice uni because our teacher only predicted him a B as he didn't think he'd be able to get enough points this year for an A.

Who's bribed an admissions tutor to get into oxbridge then? Recently that is, not hundreds of years ago.

If someone has an offer based on predicted grades, and these grades are unrealistic, they won't meet the offer and are unlikely to be accepted into the uni.

BTW, if youy're trying to make a point, you should usually use valid reasons backed up by facts.

You know very little about Cambridge and just how boring it would be. Your insults about it were childish and pathetic.

The point is, it was her decision, not yours. She can do whatever she likes, for whatever reason she likes, and it has nothing to do with you.

You just never came across quite so rude, bitter or immature when you were bono. But maybe I just missed it then.

Anyway, I'm not getting into another stupid argument with you, like you seem to do with everybody else.
"BTW, if youy're trying to make a point, you should usually use valid reasons backed up by facts." - It was a discussion, these consist of opinions. I made my opinions and they were valid.

"You know very little about Cambridge and just how boring it would be. Your insults about it were childish and pathetic." - So you have a problem with me not kissing Cambridge's arse? Many people I've met etc. including Jools have said the same thing. It isn't childish or pathetic, it's an opinion that you don't like, that's why you're moaning.

"You just never came across quite so rude, bitter or immature when you were bono. But maybe I just missed it then." - Rude, bitter and immature by voicing opinions that you don't like? Who's the intolerant one now? You can't accept opinions that you don't like and choose to moan yourself, face it.

"Anyway, I'm not getting into another stupid argument with you, like you seem to do with everybody else." - What's wrong with arguing? And why is it stupid? You started the argument, so are you saying that the argument you started is stupid? Your problem then, not mine.

They do, you pay to go to a private school.
But not grammar schools - this is my point. Grammar school pupils don't buy their grades, as they don't have to pay any money to the school.

speciez99:do you think being a mod is worht it?
    adhsur:*sigh* I don't know

adhsur: its great to be able to help people with things
speciez99:its just its seemed very grim from your earlier comments
adhsur: oh yeah i know, when its bad its a nightmare

this hardly shows the power hungry freak you are trying to portray, i would say you are well out of order saying that personally

But they would still have the opportunity of meeting that offer, even if unlikely, and they'd still be taking away someone else who could have gotten an offer.

All i'm saying that a lot of the time people overly exaggerate, lie, be false and beg for untrue predicted grades for the sake of application.

This does happen in many cases.

Did I say grammar schools pay for heir grades? Where? If i did, then I did onlymean private schoolers, but I don't remember saying that about grammar schoolers.

    Even so, they're still elitist.

"BTW, if youy're trying to make a point, you should usually use valid reasons backed up by facts." - It was a discussion, these consist of opinions. I made my opinions and they were valid.
You can consider them "valid" if you like. Everybody else realises that sweeping statements such as "all private school pupils buy their grades" are uninformed, prejudiced and just plain wrong.

    Cause Jools knows everything obviously...
There is a difference between kissing cambridge's asre and realising since you've never lived or studied there, you have no right to making sweeping statements about the social life, the people, etc. Besides, the opinion doesn't annoy me half as much as the immature way you put it across.

"You just never came across quite so rude, bitter or immature when you were bono. But maybe I just missed it then." - Rude, bitter and immature by voicing opinions that you don't like? Who's the intolerant one now? You can't accept opinions that you don't like and choose to moan yourself, face it.
    Intolerant? WTF?
I Can handle opinions I don't like if they're in any way informed or well thought out, and put across in a reasonably polite way.

"Anyway, I'm not getting into another stupid argument with you, like you seem to do with everybody else." - What's wrong with arguing? And why is it stupid? You started the argument, so are you saying that the argument you started is stupid? Your problem then, not mine.
What's wrong with arguing? Once again, wtf? It's stupid, and it achieves nothing, which is why I'm not going to carry on doing this with you. Bye!

So as i said, she doesn't really want to be mod, and she stated that she told d many times that she didn't want to be mod. Surely someone wanting to be mod would do a better job, rather than one who says *sigh* all the time as if it's a terrible situation.

What evidence do we have to say the conversation is legitimate. Rushda is a bad mod, she often fails her duties. She should be removed, BB military coup stylee.

So, the privite school my dad works at, which specialises in teacher children with learning difficulties who cannot function in the mainstream, sells grades to the children then?

no, the sigh was because some moronic idiots abuse this forum like there is no tomorrow, that makes her job extremely difficult, she does it as a service and that probably the best attitude to have as it means she is fair

sorry are you accusing me of lying? you think i would go to the trouble to make this up, may i remind you of stance i took on the moderation with vienna, surely me of all people would be the first to jump on mistakes in the system

I wouldnt want to be a mod as I spend such a small amount of my time on this forum. If I was I think I would strive to be as impartial as I could, something Adhsur consistently fails to do.
