    That's unfounded and wrong.
The part of the first pillar of Islam is: "Confess that there is no god but Allah and that Muhammed is his prophet".
Nothing about respect. You just have to believe that he is sent by God, whether or not you want to respect him or follow his actions is up to you and your "faith", or Iman as Muslims call it.
No, it is largely agreed that "la ilaha ill allah" implies worship in the context of the origin of the Quran. It is not merely accepting faith in Allah, it is excluding worship of all other Gods, i.e. the polytheistic tradition of the time.

Stop using taqyya now. There is also footage where you are though to "lie to the kuffrs to help Islam"

UK is not a secular state. The Church of England formed the national indentity of the United Kingdom. Everyone gave an oath to defend the Queen who is the head of the Church.

What we should to is to shot down religious school who promote anti-British behaviour and tolerate those schools of religion who favour British patriotism. Also, Christianity.
You don't really know what at-taqqiyah is, do you?

because evidently whatever hateful opinion you have about Muslims being western-haters, democracy-haters and non-integrators is unrepresentative or inaccurate
although I know from seeing your responses to other threads you're a troll account (or hope as much) I'll make what was pretty clear even more clear, that I'm referred to those in the video, and not all Muslims.

    1. It was a large British mosque.
    2. There are 23 state-funded Islamic schools: www.parliament.uk/briefing-papers/sn06972.pdf

The real problem is the thousands of muslim private schools that indoctrinate children, as well as those that radicalise them.
Hey, do you know which mosque?

So the video really does have nothing to do with Islamic schools right? The OP had a lot of ********.

Those 23 state funded schools are probably monitored more closely and who knows, there's possibly no extremist teaching going on in any of them.

I agree with you in the sense that they should be closely inspected and shut down if necessary.

The mere fact that government money has to be wasted on monitoring them in the first place...

Hey, do you know which mosque?
The first part of the documentary was, embarrassingly, claimed by the police to be misleadingly edited. This was proven wrong of course and the police apologised and had to pay Channel 4 and the filmmakers £100,000 in damages. This was back in 2007 when the PC brigade and the regressive left had an even bigger foothold in public opinion than they do today. Quite astonishing how even video footage can be criticised (by the police no less!) The Independent article is particularly difficult to read again.

This video is from the second part (Undercover Mosque: The Return) and the filmmakers didn't release the name of the mosque to avoid even the slightest possibility of legal issues. However, I just looked on Wikipedia and it is listed as The London Central Mosque:

Fair point. Though the whole "our tax money is funding these extremist teachings" doesn't really have any basis.

Didn't say it is funding it.

Just that you allow something that a) is so high risk and b) costs money to be monitored?

    Completely outrageous.

I am sorry, but every British citizen should who wants to be responsible needs to be loyal to the Crown, otherwise they are traitors.
So you don't value freedom of speech?

There is already ample evidence of radicalisation and extremism in state-funded schools, as well as mosques. The most obvious case being the Birmingham Trojan Horse schools:

Yes it does. I suggest you look up Park View school rather than assuming what you want to believe out of ignorance.

I don't see why ANY religious school should be donated by the state and considered equivalent to normal school. It is against the rules of secular state, and this secularization was invented after the reformation, for very good reasons, of the very same kind as we see in this video.
We don't live in a secular state. The Reformation left our monarch as head of the Church of England. There are bishops sitting in the House of Lords passing our laws. School terms are based around religious festivals. There are approximately 7000 faith schools in England - one in three of the total. It's possible to argue a strong case that we should be more secular, but don't base those arguments on the actions of a single school, or even a single teacher.

Alright fair enough. I didn't say there definitely wasn't any extremism but was using the "innocent until proven guilty" train of thought.
