Question 1 was weird!
It was like find equation y= ax + b
And I got b as 8ln2 + 16 (something along those lines)
Bit of a trick question I think.

I messes up the modulus question!...and there were one or two other tricky bits..harder than jan 08 me thinks...what you guys reckon the boundary for an A will be?

I found the paper ok, but i've probably made some utterly stupid mistakes and lost loooads of marks!
I couldnt do the proof of the 1 + cot = cosec, I could only get one side which really annoyed me.
Come on, tall one, wheres this mark scheme???

you take

sin^2 x + cos^2 x = 1

divide it all by sin^2 x

\frac{sin^2 x}{sin^2 x} + \frac{cos^2 x}{sin^2 x} = \frac{1}{sin^2 x}

simplify

1 + cot^2 x = cosec^2 x

ah!! i couldn't prove this ****!! it was like 2 marks!! ahhhh but at least i could do the 6 mark questions though ahhh
