I knew you weren't referring to me specifically.

Anyway, the sex education you received probably wasn't a great deal inferior to most others. All of the people I know from non-Catholic schools received much the same (the scientific lessons in year 8 biology) but little else, certainly nothing to do with contraception.

Besides, what needs to be taught about contraception? You have sex, you get pregant. Sex is the means of procreation after all. To stop this you use contraception. Seems quite simple to me. The (school age) teenagers I've met in life who got pregnant didn't get pregnant due to an ignorance of sex. It was just general recklessness and desire to "put it out" (of which both male and female are at fault). I'm not suggesting that the girls were being ****s and the boys weren't responsible, let me make that clear.
