Is it good quality?
Yep, it can be a bit harsh though, its quite difficult to get a softer look unless you smudge it quite a bit.

It needs to be stickied!
Oooh that would be excellent!

Does he do subtle colours? I'm quite liking the smokey eye look at the mo ;yes;
Yes of course! Barry M is stocked in Superdrug.. well the biggest range I have seen.

Sounds interesting. I may purchase some YSL tomorrow for a test drive :^_^:
Best investment I would recommend... apart from the Barry M stuff :p:

Yeah. I use Rimmel lipstick and powder at the mo. "Transparent" rocks my world.
Me too! Ah I don't know what I would do without it, not go out probably. :yep:

Does it hurt? :embarasse
Noooo well as long as you don't do it excessively. Pop into your local boots etc and look for shower gel that have "beads" or what not in them. That way you are exfoilating as you wash. You can also get a exfoiliating mitt too but the rough bit on a sponge works just as well!

I was thinking about 'partyfeet'. Are the any good? My main problem is the very intense burning in the ball of your foot. Ouch, it hurts just thinking about it.
That's just why they were invented! They work really well, don't totally get rid of the pain especially if you are out for 6hours + like me but definetely stop it from happening after a few hours!

It's all about pink for me
Haha pink can be your exception then :p:

Edit: Sorry I had to run out and stupidly posted a half written reply

Ok guys, I want to know which everyday products you like best! Name the brands (and shade/colour if relevant)

This is not a marketing survey. I simply thought it would be a good idea to compare notes. We could see if any brands prove to be more popular than others.

You don’t have to fill them all in if you do not wish to Not everyone uses all these products.

I may be generous with rep for those who contribute

Face/Makeup:

  • Lipstick: Avon Pro-to-go in Perfect Pink.
  • Eye shadow: Usually Boots No.7 or something in browns and creams or Boujois Little pot of eyeshadow in Brun or Marrow, sometimes teal colours.
  • Lip liner: N/A
  • Lip plumper: Benefit Glamourous Lipgloss in 'Didn't hear it from me'
  • Lip protector: N/A
  • Eye liner: Not eyeliner but I often use maroon/crimson eyeshadow underneath for a smokey eye look or a grey pencil for like parties and going out, but I don't generally wear it.
  • Mascara: Boujois Paris Ultra Black or Rimmel Glam-eyes in Brown/Black for day time.
  • Blusher: Boujois Paris little pot of blush in 'Rose'
  • Foundation: N/A
  • Highlighter: N/A
  • Concealer: N/A but if I (heaven forbid) get a spot then I'll use a little.
  • Powder: N/A
  • Face mask: N/A as I've got sensitive skin and most irritate me.
  • Moisturiser: Loreal Dermagenesis or Olay Moisturising fluid.
  • Facewash: N/A
  • Clenser: N/A
  • Toner:N/A
  • Acne/spot treatment: On prescription from the Doctors.

  • Other products worth mentioning: Eyelash curlers!

  • Mask/treatment: N/A
  • Hair spray:N/A
  • Moose:N/A
  • Heat protection spray:N/A
  • Volume spray:N/A
  • Serum:N/A
  • Gel:N/A
  • Other products worth mentioning: N/A

  • Fake tan: N/A
  • Cellulite Treatment:N/A
  • Body Scrub: N/A
  • Deodorant: Whatever is on offer at the time, Nivea Pearls is nice though.
  • Other products worth mentioning: N/A

Hands/Nails:
  • Nail varnish: So many to chose from!
  • Hand cream: Next Apricot.
  • Other products worth mentioning: N/A

As you can see, I don't really wear much make up, during the week I just wear Mascara and blusher, but sometimes when I'm out I'll wear eyeshadow and lipgloss too. I always use eyelash curlers though!

I don't use soap when washing, just plain water as I always follow my Mum's rules to not use it as it gives you wrinkles (she said) and my Mum has really smooth wrinkle free skin, so I take her advice on that. I just exfoliate once a week or so and always moisturise as my skin's combination, quite dry but oily tea zone.

I don't use anything in my hair as I'm very fortunate to wake up and have my hair nice, only have to brush it. My hair looks wavy kind of like this:
http://www.hairfinder.com/celebrityp...ia-cross-2.jpg
so I don't really have to do much to it at all really.

yep, it's awesome! def the best make up brand i've tried, so i've been a loyal Dior make up buyer for several years :p: It's not too expensive! Not more than the usual brands like Dior, Chanel, Estée Lauder etc. I but it from Dior counters at Selfridges, John Lewis or Debenhams

Another barry m! What is so good about this brand?

What is so good about Touche Eclat? I hear about it often.

Sounds good. Does it look natural? How does it fair if you use powder on your face?
I can vouch for Barry M too I've tried their nail varnishes and eyeshadows - they have some brilliant bright colours!

Touche Eclat.. hmm, I've never tried it myself, but from what I've heard it's probably the best product to use to banish under-eye darkness. I have something very similar by No7 (it's called a highlighter, I think, in a thin black tube with a brush on the end), and it's supposedly the best cheaper alternative.

As for the benetint - really natural finish I don't usually wear powder but some of my friends do, and they wear both together just fine! It just kind of blends in to your skin..

To give you an idea of my colourings:
I've got fair skin, slightly tanned, auburn hair and green eyes if that helps.

my fave products are eyeshadow palettes, they have sooo many different combinations of colours and they last for ages, you never have to worry about your eyes smudging or the colours wearing off, and they're really easy to blend, so that if you buy one palette and it has 5 colours in, you can easily make at least 10 different colours from blending them. my palettes have lasted me ages too, infact probably too long cos youre not meant to keep make up for very long :p: but yeh, they're definitely my favourite products i really love the khaki shades ive got and the purply palettes.

The High shine lipstick is good, because it's more of a glossy lipstick than harsh lipstick, but unlike the glosses it actually stays on for ages. I find the glosses wear off after you've had a sip of a drink, but the lipstick stays on for ages so you don't have to sit there re-applying it all night.

Anddd i love the Diorskin Forever compact powder. It works as foundation and covers up any sneaky imperfections, but it doesn't feel yucky and horrible on your skin and you can't tell you're wearing it, neither can anybody else I have quite fair skin on my face and i use that in 002. It's sooo much better than putting gunk all over your face!!

Finally, i'd recommend the Dior Sun Glowing Moisturiser for summer. I absolutely love it! It's all you need on your face in the sun, it acts as your moisturiser and foundation and gives you a really nice finish. It's slightly tinted so you just look really good and healthy, and it makes your skin look smooth and awesome. Its also got SPF so will protect in summer too I use the lightest shade of that which is the "01 blond" one, and it's just nicely coloured. Also, if for any reason you put too much on, you can wash it straight off. It's not a fake tan so it doesn't stay on your face if anything goes wrong! It looks loads more natural than facial fake tans too.

I keep hearing 'mineral'. What's it all about?
I don't use foundation.
What's 'threading?'
Gals, do you wear waterproof or normal mascara?
It's just mineral foundation- made from 'natural' ingredients i.e. minerals. It gives more of a light finish as opposed to heavier foundation but that might just be me! My skin is different tones so I gotta use it to even out

threading is like plucking except you pull out lots of hairs in 1 go as opposed to 1!

I don't get what this is?! It's always in the mags and what not, as something you should have. I remember reading an article with all the different things you can do with it, but sadly threw it away and can't remember what was on it! Is it just a moisturizer?
