I started this year letting my housemates use my stuff, but as time has gone on theyve become more disrespectful and leaving my things dirty on the side. This weekend I came back from home to find every one of my knives, forks, pots, plates mugs and glasses dirty from 4 days ago. If I use other peoples utensils I mostly ask, and then always wash afterwards. I expect the same treatment in return. Now I'm watching myself becoming anal and hiding my stuff around the kitchen so it can't be used, all because people can't be bothered to look after my things. I can't afford to replace missing and damaged items each year.

The reason people like me become anal is coz of an increase in minor irritations which get worse throughout the year as people take liberties.

Oh, and don't use metal utensils on non stick frying pans. It's a lack of common sense like this that irritates me.
I keep all my stuff in my room now. Last year some ******* idiot/s decided to use metal in my non-stick pans and completely wrecked them. That was the last straw, seeing the frying pan I'd come to love all cut up like that. Morons. They don't squueze out the sponge clothes or sponges either - they seem to be too stupid to realise that if the cloth smells bad, it's probably not going to make surfaces cleaner...
The last thing I want to be doing when I get in after a long day is to be washing up mess that isn't mine.
